The handle is made of polished bamboo and will easily fit in your hands due to its ergonomic shape. The soft bristles help to gently clean teeth. The bristles are made of a mixture of nylon and vegetable, castor-oil-based plastics and do not contain harmful substances BPA (bisphenol-A) or phthalates.
We recommend replacing your toothbrush every 3 months. You'll know it's time when the bristles start to break down.
Our tip: Once your toothbrush has served its time, snap off the head and put it in the household waste. You can throw the handle on the compost pile, or reuse it for other purposes.
Why is bamboo such a good choice?
Bamboo is an excellent renewable resource. It is the fastest growing plant on earth. Due to its natural antimicrobial content, it is not necessary to use fertilizers or pesticides during its cultivation.
Are bamboo toothbrushes biodegradable?
Bamboo is a 100% natural material and is thus fully compostable. However, the fibers are not fully biodegradable and compostable, despite the fact that they contain a significant amount of plant matter. Until the 1930s, the bristles of most toothbrushes were made from pig hair. And this is the only option to have a 100% biodegradable toothbrush, even if the handle is made of wood.
We have been considering using pig bristles as a natural material for a long time. We have discussed its use with dentists. According to them, pig bristles are not the ideal choice, as microorganisms attach to these fibers. Not only do these fibers not meet current hygienic dental standards, but they can even defeat the whole point of brushing your teeth. This problem does not exist when using nylon brushes. Moreover, since nylon is not an animal product, this solution is also ideal for a vegan lifestyle.

When returning the order, return shipping to "Tierra Verde Bulgaria" is at the customer's expense.

Orders are processed during our business hours between 10:00 and 18:00 from Monday to Friday.
Orders placed by 12:00 p.m. (Mon-Fri) are fulfilled the same day and delivered by Speedy for:

- within the country (to office) within 24 hours
- for the country (to address) within 48 hours.
Orders placed after 12:00 p.m. (Mon-Fri) and on non-working days are fulfilled and delivered for delivery the next working day.

Upon receipt of the Product, the User should check the contents of the package for compliance of the sent Product with the submitted order. If any violations are found in the appearance of the Product, the User should contact the courier, who is obliged to draw up a report on damage to the shipment and the costs for the damaged Product are covered by the courier. Otherwise, the User cannot make a claim for missing or damaged integrity of the Product.
