Washable coffee filter

This filter is designed for multiple use. The organic cotton it is made from is approved for food use.

Care: Recommended washing at 40°C, with a delicate detergent and without fabric softener. The expected shrinkage is up to 5%, with the initial shape being restored with use.

Why organic cotton?

Organic cotton is grown on organic farms where clear rules are followed regarding organic food and cotton - from seed to the final production of the fabric, including sewing. The use of toxic chemical agents during planting or production is prohibited, as they can cause harm to workers and the environment. Genetically modified organisms are also prohibited.

Products made of organic cotton do not cause allergic reactions.

Unlike synthetic materials (polyester, fleece), organic cotton does not release plastic microfibers during washing. Because treatment plants can't handle these microfibers, they end up in rivers and seas, polluting water and soil, harming animals, and sometimes ending up on our plates.

Certification

The organic cotton from which the products in our zero-waste living series are made is grown, produced and certified according to the standards of the international organization GOTS. These standards define the methods involved in the cultivation of cotton, its harvesting and the production of clothing and other textiles, including colors, threads and buttons, taking into account the social and working conditions of the workers.
