Tierra Verde nuts ripen in the foothills of the Himalayas in northern India. They grow on Sapindus mukorossi trees, which are found throughout the local forests. Locals have used the husks of these nuts for hundreds of years to wash their clothes and bodies. Indian women collect this little miracle of nature and process it for us.
Soapnut flakes are suitable for gentle washing in a washing machine and by hand. They contain a plant-based detergent – saponin, which is suitable for washing all types of normally soiled fabrics (with sweat, dust), including functional underwear and the finest fabrics (wool, silk). The nuts do not cause color fading and are suitable for people with sensitive skin (children, people with eczema). Using soapnuts is among the cheapest ways to wash.

Instructions for use: Place the appropriate number of nuts in the attached cloth bag (see table), tie it and add it to the washing machine drum with the laundry. It is not necessary to use a fabric softener or rinse aid, because the saponin from the soap nuts softens the water. The nuts can be used 2-3 times at temperatures up to 60 ˚C. If they no longer foam when soaked in hot water (they do not release saponin), separate them for composting.

For white laundry, add 1-2 tablespoons of ECO OXYGEN BLEACH - PUER powder for bleaching and stain removal (soap nuts do not contain bleaching agents).
Soak heavily soiled laundry in the warmest possible water (depending on the type of laundry) the evening before washing and add 1-2 spoons of ECO OXYGEN BLEACH - PUER powder for bleaching and stain removal .
For stains, before washing, treat the contaminated areas with ECO Stain Soap .
Scenting laundry – before putting it in the washing machine, drip the bag of soap nuts with your favorite essential oil.

The trees that bear these nuts grow wild in India. There are no plantations for their cultivation. Our nuts are collected by Indian women, for whom this work is a source of income and independence.

Orders are processed during our business hours between 10:00 and 18:00 from Monday to Friday.
Orders placed by 12:00 p.m. (Mon-Fri) are fulfilled the same day and delivered by Speedy for:

- within the country (to office) within 24 hours
- for the country (to address) within 48 hours.
Orders placed after 12:00 p.m. (Mon-Fri) and on non-working days are fulfilled and delivered for delivery the next working day.

Upon receipt of the Product, the User should check the contents of the package for compliance of the sent Product with the submitted order. If any violations are found in the appearance of the Product, the User should contact the courier, who is obliged to draw up a report on damage to the shipment and the costs for the damaged Product are covered by the courier. Otherwise, the User cannot make a claim for missing or damaged integrity of the Product.
